Basel by bike
Basel is a great city to discover by bicycle. The hotel is happy to lend you bicycles free of charge, and to recommend the special bike tour. Even seasoned bikers will find charming routes with different degrees of difficulty. Our reception team would be delighted to help you plan your own personal bike tour through Basel.> Rheinradweg > Fahrrad-Tour > Dreiland-Radweg
The town’s landmark sits in the middle of the city – directly at Basel’s market place. Monday through to Saturday, the lively market place is filled with different colorful market stalls and a wide variation of fresh products.
There are three of the old Basel city gates still standing until today: the Spalentor, which is directly across from our hotel, the Gate of Saint Alban and the Gate of Saint John. All three of them can be reached and discovered during a beautiful walk through Basel.
